Drummer Ronnie Jones brings his Devon-based quartet - featuring special guest: top-class tenor saxophonist Simon Spillett - to The Cottles Club on Monday 14th September. 
Ronnie is joined by Will Butterworth (piano); and Jim Rintoul on bass, and of course Simon Spillett on tenor sax.
Simon is rightly considered one of the top tenor sax players in the country. Marking the 30th anniversary of his professional debut, Simon's stellar career includes numerous sold out headline shows at the UK’s premier jazz clubs: Ronnie Scott’s and Pizza Express (Soho); plus appearances at all of the major UK jazz festivals - including the ESG London jazz festival; winning a handful of jazz industry awards along the way.
Simon is also a highly-regarded band leader whose Tubby Hayes Big Band has released a critically-acclaimed album, and recently recorded a second album at the world-famous Abbey Road studios.    
Join us for an evening of exceptionally high-quality jazz from one of the country’s top saxophonists; supported by some of the top jazz musicians in the SW.
